August 2022

My Fulbright journey started with the Pre-Academic Program at the Unievrsity of Kansas

I had the chance to represent Egypt during the program’s cultural night ceremony.

I was sure to take a photo with Dr. Leyah Bergman Lanier — Executive Director, Spring International Language Center.

My Fulbright Journey also started with a visit to Washington DC, exploring the professional and multicultural environment.

December 2022

While so much has happened during my Fulbright journey so far, one experience has proven itself to be the best: I’ve been placed in a completely new circumstance, and with it, I have the opportunity to connect with people I never would have had the chance to meet. Now, their stories and lives have become part of mine!

Raghda is a 2022 Fulbrighter from Egypt. She studies Political Science at Ohio University.
